Our mission at Garmont is simple - to produce functional footwear to satisfy
the wide range of ambition and spirit in backcountry adventures. Five generations
of the Morlin family producing footwear in the shadows of the Dolomites
have honed this approach. Craftsmanship, quality, passion, technical innovation,
and human form and spirit; these are the foundation stones of Garmont.

"Now that makes sense." a.d.d. footwear facilitates the foot's natural abilities to stabilize, cushion and propel efficiently. Try some on. We want your feet to say: "Wow, my toes feels so free,...but I'm secure midfoot and don't "cramp" going down hill." "This boot flexes just like my foot,...what a crazy idea!" Great heel security." "I can feel this collar wraps my leg as I walk but doesn't irritate me." And perhaps as simple as "now that makes sense!"

Like a human spine, insoles (Garmont's frames) are the thankless skeletal structures of footwear. Insoles, which we often take for granted, are the primary stability component of a boot. Although insoles are less marketable than other more visible components, they have been a long-standing priority and investment in Garmont design.
